ABOUT OUR COLLECTABLE STATUES
Kotobukiya
Kotobukiya was established in 1947 as a toy store in the prefecture of Tachikawa-Shi Tokyo. It was there that Kotobukiya started manufacturing toys and various other product services for Japan.
Kotobukiya is mainly known for it's high quality statues and model kits. With their high quality and reputation allowed them to be licensed to produce statues for leading company's such as Marvel, Disney, Dc Comics and Studio Ghibli.
Back in 2018 Steph and I traveled to Japan and we got to visit the Kotobukiya Store/Office located in Akihabara, Tokyo. Which is when this photo was taken. Yes the whole building was painted in the famous Kotobukiya Green.They had 3 levels to explore with each level focusing on a particular genre or theme.
Kotobukiya are also known for their Bishoujo Statues. Bishoujo means beautiful girl or beautiful long haired girl. These are beautiful female statues designed with elegance and style.
We have always stocked Kotobukiya in our store and was one of our first brands in our store.
Tamashii Nations - BAN DAI
Tamashii Nations is another statue/figurine company designed and created in Japan. The Headquarters is also located in Akihabara, Tokyo although located on the main street unlike Kotobukiya which was a bit more hidden away.
Tamashii Nations is a more recent company and produce around 400 new designs every year to around 20 country's.
We are going to start stocking Tamashii products from the start of 2019.
Tamashii have a strong product range of anime and manga characters from popular shows as Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Naruto Shippuden and even Godzilla.
We look forward to stocking these awesome products in the new year!

Good Smile Company is a Japanese manufacturer of hobby products such as the Nendoroid and figma product lines, as well as scale figures.
Good Smile Company Nendoroid product line has to been one of their most popular figurine type. We are growing more and more of the Nendoroid line on our store with many more versions to come.
