Packing Standards
The Fox and Panda Comics team are collectors ourselves! What this means for you? It is that we pack your orders the way we like to receive our own orders, so we take the utmost care in ensuring your items get to your home safely and securely.
Shipping & Handling Information
Shipping Methods and Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, order size, and weight. These cost are set by the Australian Post Business Calculator and these preloaded prices have been integrated into our store shipping calculator.
Our primary shipping provider is Australia Post, though other couriers may be used where appropriate.
Processing Times
Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday).
For in-stock items, we aim to:

Pick and pack orders within 2–3 business days

Dispatch orders as soon as possible once packed if not the next business day
During peak periods (sales, conventions, Christmas), processing times may be extended.
Saturday processing times
If you place an order on a Thursday evening or Friday. Your order may be picked, packed and dispatched on Saturday. Please note that due to events Thursday evening or Friday orders may be picked, packed and dispatched on Monday.
Handling Fee
A $2.00 handling fee is applied to every order.
This fee helps cover the materials and labour required to pack your order securely and professionally. It contributes to the cost of:

Sturdy shipping boxes

Protective packaging materials (bubble wrap, padding, tape)

Packing supplies and consumables
-
Administrative time spent carefully preparing and dispatching your order
Australia Post shipping charges cover delivery only and do not include the cost of packaging materials or handling. This handling fee allows us to maintain a high standard of packing, helping reduce the risk of damage during transit and ensuring your items arrive in the best possible condition.
We take pride in packing orders the way collectors expect, carefully, securely, and with attention to detail.
Packaging Standards
At Fox and Panda Comics, packaging isn’t an afterthought it’s ,part of the service.
Every order is packed with care to ensure items arrive safely and in the condition collectors expect.
How we pack your order
We take multiple steps to protect your items during transit, including:

Wrapping items in protective materials such as bubble wrap and padding

Using appropriately sized, sturdy boxes to prevent movement

Securing contents so items do not shift during transit
-
Separating items where required to avoid rubbing, bending, or pressure damage
Our goal is to ensure each item fits correctly within its packaging, minimising the risk of damage while in transit.
Multiple-package shipments
In some cases, sending all items in a single parcel may increase the risk of damage. Where necessary, we may split an order into multiple packages to ensure items are packed securely and safely.
This may occur when:

Items are different sizes or shapes

Additional protection is required

Weight or space limitations would compromise safe packaging
We always make this decision with the safety of your items in mind.
Local Drop Off (if offered)
Local drop off orders must be delivered within a reasonable timeframe after notification.
Uncollected orders may be cancelled or transferred to shipping at the customer’s expense after reasonable attempts to contact the customer are unsuccessful.
After 30 days have passed and we have not received any communication from you, Fox and Panda Comics will consider your order abandoned and will return the items back to stock without a refund.
Pre-Orders & Combined Orders
If your order contains pre-order or back-order items:

Fulfilment begins once all items are available

Orders may be split at our discretion (additional shipping charges may apply)
Estimated arrival dates are subject to supplier delays and international shipping factors.
Delays & Issues regarding the shipping provider
While we take great care packing and dispatching orders, delays after dispatch are outside our control.
If an item is damaged, missing, or fails to ship as expected, we will contact you using the details provided on your order.
Shipping & Risk
Shipping timeframes are estimates only.
Risk in goods passes to you once your order has been dispatched. Fox and Panda Comics is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services.
All packages will come with tracked shipping. We however are not responsible for any lost or damaged products while in transit with the postal or courier services.
International Shipping – New Zealand
We offer international shipping to New Zealand via Australia Post’s standard international service.

International Shipping – Rest of the World
Shipping to countries outside Australia and New Zealand is currently limited.
